Eggs are available from our flock of chickens year round.  Our happy chickens get a mix of commercial feed, bugs and lots of garden extras and sunshine. You can purchase eggs from the cooler on the front porch and leave payment in the payment box of $5/ dozen.  We also take standing orders for those who always want to make sure that their eggs are ready on a specific day.

FAQs on Rolling Bay Farm Eggs

 Why are your egg yolks so deeply orange colored? 
Because they are full of good stuff!  The deep color comes from the high Beta Carotene and trace mineral content.

 
How come my dozen eggs aren't all the same size? 
This is not a commercial flock, but more like one your grandmother might have had.  Each dozen eggs are all laid on one day and they come in sizes from Jumbo (which often has a double yolk) to Small.  They average out to be comparable to a dozen Large sized commercial eggs.

 
What's with all the different colored eggs? 
We thought it would be fun to offer a "rainbow pack" of eggs.  The green/blue eggs come from Ameracuanas, the dark brown/terra cotta eggs from Cuckoo Marans and the light brown eggs from Red Sex Link.
